As you will be well aware by now the college has a pig in the newly formed woodland area of the college.
Princess gave birth to 10 piglets and students and staff were given the task of naming the piglets.
Well we now have the chosen names:
West Ham was suggested by James from Year 10
Moink was suggested by Teisha from Year 7
Spider Pig was suggested by Richard from Year 7
Lady Oinkington was suggested by Evie Year 7
Pinky was suggested by Kattre from Year 8
Babe was suggested by Kirsty from Year 12
Spice was suggested by Lucy from year 8
Ting was suggested by Liz from Year 11
Pepper was suggested by Scott from Year 10
Pork Chop was suggested by Mrs Turner

This term small groups of children from local primary schools took part in a photography workshop lead by Mr Dormand.

Honiton community college is forging greater links with a school in Ethiopia.
It follows a trip of lifetime for a group of pupils who raised funds to spend a week at the secondary school in the town of Shashamene. They said they were struck by the African pupils determiniation to succeed despite having very little equipment and facililites.
They say it's transformed the way they feel about the education they're getting back at home.
