Ensuring a balanced and enticing menu |

The college takes great care to ensure a balanced and enticing menu is available for all students in the canteen, with the daily menu always including a vegetarian option.
Innovate Ltd, who provide catering services at the College have been awards a 5 out of 5 Food Hygiene rating by East Devon District Council's Environmental Health team.
Lunch at Honiton Community College
Students may bring a packed lunch which can be eaten in the Dining Room or outside on the many benches we have dotted around the campus or they can buy a school lunch from the healthy range offered by Innovate services.
The Dining room operates a three week rotation of menus and these are changed each term. To see and example of the current menus please click here. Each half term a themed week is planned which introduces the children to a totally new range that is just a little different than normal. Our friendly staff will be pleased to help with any choices or concerns – please just ask them.
All catering at Honiton Community College is cashless at the point of sale and we use a bio registration system to identify student accounts only. The students select their purchase and at the till they present their finger to a reader machine, they scan their food purchase and the amount will then be debited from their dinner money account. Dinner money accounts can be topped up on line using Parentpay or by using a pre ordered Paypoint card. Students have time to eat their lunch and relax before the warning bell which sounds at 1.55pm.

The portal allows parents and students to find out about who we are as a company and what we have planned for the catering service, as well as look at example menus, give feedback via our Shape Your Service Survey and join the iClub.
iClub – Parents can sign up to the iClub directly from the portal. We have created this sub site as a result of feedback we have received from various student focus groups and are hoping that this will be the start of increased communication between us and our customers.
